§ Treatment

VASER Lipo

Ultrasound-assisted fat removal that treats one area at a time with exceptional precision.

§ What it is

VASER Lipo uses ultrasound energy to gently loosen fat cells before they are removed, so surrounding tissue, nerves and blood vessels are left largely undisturbed. That is what allows us to work with real precision and to sculpt rather than simply reduce volume.

Treatment is carried out under local anaesthetic. You walk in, the procedure is completed the same day, and you walk out. Most patients are back to desk-based work within a few days and see their final contour settle over three to six months.

§ Who it's for
  • Stubborn pockets of fat that resist diet and training
  • A stable weight with a specific area you want refined
  • A preference for local anaesthetic over general
  • Patients wanting definition rather than dramatic weight loss

Clinician marking and measuring the abdomen during a body assessment
How is VASER Lipo different from traditional liposuction?
+
Ultrasound energy loosens the fat before it is removed, so surrounding nerves, blood vessels and connective tissue are largely left intact. That means less trauma, less bruising and far greater precision when sculpting.
How many areas can be treated in one session?
+
Commonly one to three adjacent areas in a single sitting. Your clinician will confirm what is safe and sensible for you at consultation.
Will my skin be loose afterwards?
+
VASER encourages skin retraction, and where laxity is a concern we combine it with NeoLift skin tightening in the same package.
Will there be scars?
+
Access is through very small incision points placed in natural creases wherever possible. These typically fade to near-invisible over several months.
